A FREE one-day community-organized TRPG gathering
Berkeley, California | The Hillside Club
October 18, 2025 11am-6pm
Presented by The Bay Area TRPG Society
BATS is the Bay Area TRPG Society (BATS) discord.
BATS exists to foster connection, creativity, and community within the tabletop role-playing game scene of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are dedicated to creating gathering spaces where players, game masters, designers, and enthusiasts can come together to share their passion for storytelling through games.
BATSCon is a FREE one day TRPG event held at the Hillside Club in Berkeley. The con will require masks to ensure safety and accessibility for community members. See policy below.
To join in on the fun, register for the general event at the link below. Then, check out the schedule further below, review what games you may be interested in. In addition, each game session has its own registration to limit the number of players. We will also have tables available with for drop-in games, so feel free to come see what's happening even if you don't register for a game.
BATSCon is a welcoming space built on respect, consent, and communication. Use safety tools, check in with each other, and remember: people are always more important than games. Harassment, discrimination, trolling, and harmful language will not be tolerated. If you need support or experience a problem, please reach out to an organizer on-site or contact info@batrpgs.com
During the day we'll have several vendors showing their games and game-related wares!

At BATScon, the health and safety of our community is a top priority. As a small, community-centered event, we are committed to protecting one another—especially our QTBIPOC, disabled, immunocompromised, and other vulnerable community members.
Our policy:
This policy reflects our values of care, accessibility, and collective responsibility. By masking up, we help make BATScon a welcoming and safe space for everyone to enjoy games, vendors, and community.
Thank you for helping us care for one another!
